Essential Qualifications/Experience

Education:
A degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, plus a post-graduate qualification in Insurance such as CII.

Experience:
● A degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, plus a post-graduate qualification in Insurance such as CII. ● At least 4 years’ experience in Underwriting and marketing insurance products and services at a senior level in a similar organisation. ● Must be computer literate with capacity to use one of the common word processing packages, to use a spreadsheet for tabulation. Age: 30-45 years

Training or career development. Knowledge:
We have been retained by one of our top regional clients, in the insurance industry, to identify an extraordinary achiever and fast tracker for a senior level management position. The successful candidate will be appointed as a Underwriting Manager. Duty Station: Kampala Reports to : Chief Executive Officer Key aspects of the position: This position requires an individual who has good communication skills (both oral and written) has business humour, technically articulate in explaining the company’s products and services and has very good interpersonal skills and public relations. The person must be self-driven and result –oriented, being able to take pride in attacking business opportunities to the company and be client focussed in fulfilment of the company’s business objectives.
